Pleased, and a bit Envious...

My day's gone a bit better today, and conversing with Denise last night and early this morning made it even more so. I was able to mail her presents around 11:30 or so, and they should be on their way to her home right now; they won't reach her until the day of her birthday, which was precisely how I planned it.
Denise also informed me that she is part of a new role-play, one that consists of a lot of DC characters. I wish I had known about this last year, since it apparently was started in June. I'm sure she will have this put in her journal eventually, so I won't need to mention anything else regarding her. I'm very pleased she's a part of it, but as my subject header mentions, I'm a bit envious, since the two characters I enjoy the most-Nightwing and Robin-are both being used already, and being used well, I must admit. The only way I could join in would be a character that I'm probably unfamiliar with.
Still, it's awesome just to look at it, since they make the scenario feel so real; it's almost like I'm reading one of the monthly comic books! The only other downside is that I can't send them comments on how awesome a job I think they're all doing.
Today's quote will be done by the Boy Wonder via a past issue, and the icon I use will also feature the aforementioned Boy Wonder...
