Soaring through the Sky...
Jan. 10th, 2005 01:20 pmThe subject makes sense to me for a simple reason-my day's gone somewhat well despite the rain still hanging around.
After work, I walked through the rain wearing a raincoat instead of my usual umbrella-which I lost last Tuesday while looking for a birthday present for my mother; I got her present yesterday when I was paid-headed down to Heroes and bought two issues of X-Men: Phoenix Endsong, only the first of 5 parts. One is for Denise, the other is for me; I read it first and came to the conclusion that this saga, like the Robin/Batgirl: Fresh Blood saga or the Teen Titans: Titans of Tomorrow saga, was too important to pass up. That, and the sight of Jean being restored to life after being dead for an unknown amount of time is quite disturbing to see.
Also, if you will note, I have changed two of my three icons. This is just one of them; you'll see the other one in a future update.
"You told me the Phoenix has a purpose, Jeannie. It burns away what doesn't work. I may look tough, Jeannie...but I'm getting tired of killing you." -Wolverine, X-Men: Phoenix-Endsong
