I had to head by the college in order to get a list of possible job prospects, and I'll admit that it wasn't *that* bad. Sure, it took up a part of my afternoon, but it was worth it. Also headed by 2nd Dimension beforehand, and picked up the aforementioned issues. Will need to head by Heroes during the weekend and see if other certain issues are there that I didn't see at 2nd Dimension.
Gotham Central #35
Robin-Tim Drake, not the one found in the Gotham river-made another appearance to Stacy on top of the roof about midway through the issue, which was pretty good for the most part. The storyline carries itself really well, and Gotham's police-at the moment-seem to be able to handle their own cases without Batman's help. Can't wait for the conclusion of this saga during the beginning of October.
Outsiders #28
The only reason I picked up this issue to begin with was because it's supposed to be the aftermath of the Teen Titans/Outsiders crossover "The Insiders." (Teen Titans already came out with their aftermath back in July, yet the month stamped on that issue is September.) Out of all the things I would've guessed this issue would start out, I hadn't expected to see Nightwing and Starfire sleeping together. For the most part, this issue wasn't too bad-it showed how the others were dealing with the loss of Indigo, had an appearance by Captain Marvel Junior (Cissie King-Jones put it so eloquently back in Young Justice #21 concerning that name-very awful), who may be the newest member of the Outsiders, etc...also showed Arsenal destroying their headquarters in Brooklyn at the end, as well.
The quote for this evening comes from a back issue of Teen Titans.
"...I hate that someone I care about feels like I do." -Raven, Teen Titans #26
