Today is Denise's birthday, and I'm very pleased that she's another year older. I know how she feels in regards to waiting for the adult maturity and knowledge...and, not quite getting it. (laughs lightly)
In 2 months and 14 days from today, I'll be turning twenty-four. I'm normally excited about my birthday, yet the events that occurred to me today have dulled my emotions. I bought some magazines earlier this afternoon after getting off work quite early, which was good. The part that left me irritated was the fact that I was kept waiting for the bus to pick me up for nearly an hour near one of the malls over an hour ago.
The other thing that has me incensed is learning that my presents didn't reach Denise like they were supposed to. The mail service, according to what she told me, takes 3 days to send things from California to New York, and vice versa. They had better reach her tomorrow, even though I know I can't do anything about it if they don't.
No quote for today, but one of my new icons will be shown to resemble my mood...
