My mother needed to come into work despite the fact that it's Memorial Day-and, since I don't need to go into work until tomorrow due to this holiday, I am with her, somewhat bored and hungry.
On the plus side, my mother has indeed ordered cable television for our house, and after I get off work, I'll undoubtedly need to come straight home and wait from 1:00-3:00, since that's when the (imitates Jim Carrey) "cable guy!" (laughs lightly) will show up to install the cable.
My mother and I had decided against going to the baseball game on Friday, but we are going to the one that's supposed to be today-starting an hour early, at 6:00 instead of 7:00. I'd be pleased, but I'm not sure if my Charlie Brown team will pull another win or not.
