Barely Controlled Anger...
Sep. 20th, 2005 09:01 pmToday was one that I can describe as interesting, to say the least. I visited a friend and found out something about him late in the afternoon that was truly unexpected and disturbing. During the afternoon, I spent time at the college and printed out my resume, then had another one printed out to have placed in a resume review box. Tomorrow, I plan to go back and see what I need to change and have updated. According to my mother, I also need to go to this Job Faire that will take place at the college from 9:00-2:00. I won't need to stay for the entire event, but I will need to look around and see what could be available.
While en route to the college, I ran into one of my cousins on the bus-the one who is a year younger than I am-and found out that she and my other cousin are both doing fine. I will see at least one of them during this Saturday, when my mother and I are to see my grandfather in order to celebrate his 85th birthday (I called him earlier to wish him happy birthday, and he thanked me for doing so) and to go out to the graveyard as a family to see my grandmother (my mother and I did so around 4:00 or so today).
Finally, I ended up buying another back issue of Young Justice but will wait until tomorrow (when I'm in a much better mood) to give a proper response as to how I felt about it. As of this moment, thanks to a conversation I find myself in, I'm in a damned foul mood (and, it's not due to the thunderstorm that is raging around outside). No quote for this post, sadly enough. Tomorrow, I may have one to show.
