Overshadowed...

Originally, I had planned to talk about my thoughts on Nightwing #111, and Supergirl #0 and #1. However, the events of what occurred while I was nearly home pushes back my plans for that.
I went into work early, like I had planned and did what I normally do-take out the trash, set up some tables, etc. After heading to Heroes and picking up the aforementioned issues, I walked from there straight to home. As I was approaching my home at the apartment buildings, I suddenly heard a loud screeching noise, then a horrible crashing sound!
I had to see what was going on, since the incident seemed to take place on the streets that I occasionally use when I head to Wal-Mart and that my mother uses when returning home from work. Upon heading to the two intersecting streets-Sierra and Maroa-I saw the front end of someone's car, looking like it had just been totaled by a fictional superhero. (Or supervillain.) The back end of a truck didn't look too hot, either, but for the most part, I believe both the people involved with the accident were okay.
(shivers) I'm still stunned at what took place at an area very close to my home. And, I still have to head down one of those streets in order to get to Wal-Mart and buy some items! No quote for now, but upon my next update, it should feature my thoughts for the already-mentioned issues and a quote will be at the end of that update.

Heh. I've thought like that too. They did construction outside of my comic shop last month and I kept thinking 'This is how it would look if Superman got thrown into the pavement...'. Heh.
I liked the part where Deathstroke showed up in Nightwing. I'm a Deathstroke fan. Duuuuude am I ever.
