Subject-Naruto!

This day marks the fourth year since we have continued onward since the horrific events of 9/11. Everything that seems to have taken place pre-9/11 seems like a distant memory. The only things people remember are the events that have happened post-9/11, myself included. I suppose in a way, the nation was forced to open its eyes as its innocence, so to speak, was ripped away four years ago. I saw what occurred while lying on my couch, a week after being released from the hospital due to a compound fracture in my left leg. That, however, is a story for another time.
Earlier this evening, at 9:00 Pacific time, I witnessed the first two episodes of a series I've enjoyed reading as a manga for some time-called Naruto. The basic tale is this-a young boy, Naruto Uzumaki, has a dream to become the next Hokage in his village, while having the knowledge that a nine-tailed demon fox resides in his body and has done so since his birth. He is part of a team that resides of his trainer Hakashi, fellow students Sakura Hinato and Sasuke Uchiha. Ironically though, while he has a crush on Sakura, the object of his affection has one on Sasuke, as do most of the girls their age, with the exception of one-Hinata Hyuga, who has a crush on Naruto. (Also got to see Inu-Yasha around 11:30 and enjoyed the scene where Kagome burst into tears and cried into Inu-Yasha's arms, pleased that he hadn't been killed by an unexpected explosion.)
