Final week of 2005

Only two days after Christmas, and while part of me is a bit disappointed with the season over like that, another part of me expected it. As I've said on a few occasions, time has that knack of going by quickly for those who don't want it to.
My Christmas was tolerable, to coin a phrase. I got only one present, and while I most assuredly would've preferred money, I think that the present I got is one I will truly enjoy over anything else I could've bought myself.

The photo is a bit unfocused and said photo was taken before I got my haircut. I hope to have one a bit more clearer with my current haircut shown soon. My mother enjoyed her presents that I'd gotten her-The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum and The Bourne Legacy. (She already had The Bourne Identity prior to this month.) I got to wish my grandfather a merry Christmas that morning, which was nice, even if I didn't get to see him.
I went into work yesterday, did what I needed to do and hung out with friends afterward. I got a set of back issues-a four-part Robin mini-series, by the way-from one of my friends as a belated Christmas present; he plans to get me a few more, when he can find them. I'm not holding my breath, but the thought is what counts during this season. I plan to do the same today.
Tomorrow after work, since the new comic books aren't going to be released until Thursday, I'll be heading by Borders once again to use one more coupon before the month ends; I'll also head by Blockbuster to rent a movie with another coupon before that one expires. The quote for today comes from the current Batgirl issue.
"He taught me...teamwork. But it's not a team. More his family..." -Cassandra Cain, Batgirl #71
