Thar she blows...!
Feb. 21st, 2005 05:21 pmToday wasn't entirely a wonderful day for me, aside from having my mother remain home since it's President's day, and she gets a holiday off-as do I, but I consider anyday a holiday if I don't have someone looking over my shoulder.
Despite having plans to go by Heroes and Target, I diverted my own plans due to a phone call from my "best friend." (The reason for the quotations is simple-I'm having a difficult time trusting anything he says since the incident that took place three weeks ago.) He wanted to hang out, and I decided to do that. However, whilst hanging out, a thunderstorm appeared for a brief time-with hail, something I haven't seen since the 8th grade!-before momentarily halting. Once it halted, I called my mother to see if she would pick me up; she did so, which is why I'm at home now posting this update. (Yesterday, I got to see the movie "Hitch," starring Will Smith, and it was hilarious. I recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys Will Smith's antics.)
I wonder how long this thunderstorm will last, though, since its scheduled to continue on throughout the evening, tomorrow, and may linger on Wednesday...
