Six months away and withstanding pain

Today marks the 6th month mark since I had my last birthday-which was on June 18th. That was one of a few good things that happened to me today. Another good thing was that I was able to collect Teen Titans #17, as I mentioned in my previous entry. And, for one night only, I'll have the house entirely to myself since my mother has joined her coworkers at a Christmas celebration out of town.
The only bad thing that happened occurred during work, and has yet to go away. While putting up chairs, I accidentally banged my right knee against one of them and felt a searing pain shoot through my leg. I haven't felt this much agony in quite a long time. The pain is now minimal, but I can't even walk far without pain radiating through my knee.
