I headed to work, did what I needed to do, then went around part of town for a few hours in the hopes of finding a second job. I believe that can be filed under "good day." (laughs lightly)

Reason being is quite simple-I managed to go into work earlier than normal, which meant I got out earlier. I was also finally able to pick up the final issue of The Return of Donna Troy (which I, and countless others, have been waiting for since August) and the last part of the Dead Robin saga in Gotham Central #36. Spent the remainder of the afternoon with friends before heading home. For the most part, I believe this day was partially better than yesterday.

The Return of Donna Troy #4 of 4

Just like with The Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day back in 2003, this saga ended quite magnificiently. (True, the former ended with Donna's death and both Young Justice and the Titans disbanding, but that paved the way for the Teen Titans and the Outsiders.) In the end, Donna regained her true memories, and things ended quite well, for the most part.

Gotham Central #36

As mentioned above, this saga ended on a good note as well. The real individual behind the "Robin deaths" was discovered to be a freelance reporter-surprising, yes, but not that believable. Batman even made an appearance in this as well, scaring the reporter out of his boots-if he'd been wearing them-even after his response of just "wanting to be a part of it."

Young Justice #36

This issue...started and ended on a not-too-good note. It ends with the death of one of their members-who was always known as a wildcard-and it started with two of the three Young Justice founders-Robin and Superboy-fighting. Robin's emotions were truly brought to the surface by David, Nauck and Stucker during this issue, in my opinion. (Not to say that the others' emotions weren't shown as well-just that Robin's were shown a bit more due to what he's had to go through during that time.)

The quote for this evening will be from the first issue I mentioned a few paragraphs above.

"I have the most screwed-up family tree ever." -Wonder Girl, The Return of Donna Troy #4 of 4
