February 2006-One Down; Eleven to Go

I've never been a big fan of this particular month. Perhaps it's because it's still within the realm of the Winter season. A better, more accurate, response would be because Valentine's Day falls upon this month-in just fourteen days.

Two people I know have birthdays on this particular month-one on the tenth; the other on the eighteenth. Though I will be pleased for them both, that does little to sooth these feelings of emptiness.

I'm not entirely sure if I will ever enjoy this month, save for getting comic books-and even that's a mild pain killer. Only time will tell. The quotes for this post comes from back issues of Teen Titans and Supergirl.

It's times like this that we all just need a little Lewis Black. If I can find a copy of it lying around somewhere (someone I know must have it, as I'm pretty sure that I gave it to someone before the White Queen went AWOL) I'll load it up on Yousendit; angry Jewish men just make everything better.
